DESCRIPTION:Variety of Illinois is pleased to celebrate our 72nd ANNUAL GOLF CLASSIC at the Village Greens of Woodridge  \n \nThe 18-hole “Village Greens” course at the Village Greens of Woodridge facility in Woodridge\, Illinois features 6\,638 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 71.2 and it has a slope rating of 121 on Blue grass. Designed by Robert B. Harris\, the Village Greens golf course opened in 1959. \nThe fun starts at 1:00pm for 18 holes of golf followed by dinner & drinks on the Village Greens patio (weather permitting) Enjoy a silent auction with premium items benefitting local kids with disabilities\, 2 hours of open bar (beer\, wine\, soft drinks & coffee) and BBQ dinner: Smoked  beef brisket\, roast breast of chicken\, BBQ pulled pork\, baked beans\, roast potatoes & cornbread (vegetarian option available – please let us know if you have any other dietary requests; Village Greens is happy to accommodate!) \nThursday Aug 24\, 2023 Event Schedule: \nRegistration Opens:                                        12:00pm \n18 Hole Modified Shotgum Begins:                 1:00 pm modified shotgun \nHosted Bar:                                                      6:00 – 8:00 pm \nDinner & Program:                                           7:00pm \nSponsorships are appreciated and available now! We look FOREward to seeing you August 24th \n  \n
